Ep 11: And Now For Something Completely Similar

Hey Nerdherfers!  We're back with a continuation from last week where we're talking about all things Monty Python.  We'll get into some the movies (of course Holy Grail) and a few more of our favorites episodes as well as some nerdy Python trivia.  And as always, our resident story-teller has stories.  Enjoy!

We're back with the second part of our "Desert Island 80's Movies" episode...you know the one, where Larry cruelly asks Brent and Micah to pick ONLY three movies they can watch for the rest of their lives! Well, he does turn out to be a big softy and let's us talk about some honorable mentions and, since it's later in the night and we're deeper into the bottle, there are stories. Hey Nerdherfers!  Join us this week as we enjoy the Fat Bottom Betty from Drew Estates, the Hochatown Small Batch Select bourbon (from the magical far-away land of Hochatown, OK) while Larry forces Brent and Micah to pick three (3) AND ONLY three movies from the 80's that they can watch for the rest of their lives. Hey Nerdherfers!  We're back with the conclusion to our talks about all things 80's tech while enjoying the Dalmore Cigar Malt scotch and the Last Rites cigar.  In the episode, we talk about Larry's mix tapes (i.e. old school playlists,) that time Micah found a stereo and got on the radio and when Brent decided he wasn't nerdy enough so he learned calligraphy to woo the ladies.  Oh, and we also talk about some cool 80's tech.

Join the Nerdherfers this week as they dive into the Last Rites cigar by Oveja Negra, the Dalmore Cigar Malt Scotch, and all (well, some of) the super cool things that came out of the 80's like personal computers, mix tapes, the GIF (pronounced "JIF", no matter what Micah says...) and of course a little thing we like to call the World Wide Web.  So sit back and relax with your favorite drink and cigar and maybe learn a thing or two about tech from the 80's, or armchair quarterback us and tell us when we're wrong...either way...
