Ep 31: Horror Movies

Welcome back, nerds! This week on Nerdherfers we’re taking you on a terrifying trip down memory lane as we explore the blood-chilling world of horror movies! From the origin of the horror genre to the golden age of horror where monsters like Dracula and Frankenstein ruled the big screen to the 80's and 90's where names like Leatherface, Michal Myers, Jason and Freddy became household names, we'll slice into everything that made horror movies from our youth unforgettable. And of course, while we do all this talking we'll be enjoying the Chicken Cock bourbon and the 601 Blue Maduro cigar. So don't forget to look under the bed and check your closet, this one is a thriller!

Ep 30: The Mall

Hey nerds! This week we're going to the land of arcades, movies, food courts and more...the mall! The mall was our hang out, the gathering place, social instructor and sometimes even babysitter. We'll recall some of our favorite mall stories while enjoying the ADVentura Blue Eyed Jack's Revenge cigar and the Telluride Distilling Co. Stout Finished Barrel Strength Whiskey. Ep 27: Take the Red Pill (The Matrix Movies)

Greetings nerds!  This week we take on one of our favorite movie trilogies....the Matrix!  Micah came prepared, so we deep dive and nerd out on so many things including AI (without trying to upset the AI overlords) all while enjoying the League of Fat Bastards Serie L cigar and the Glenfiddich 12 Year Amontillado Cask Scotch.

Ep 26: In Search Of...

Hey Nerds!  This week we talk about the classic TV show "In Search Of" hosted by Spock himself, Leonard Nimoy.  We'll dive into some of the crazy topics this show explored and how it influenced us while we were growing up, plus some of the just stupid things we did as kids while we were in search of whatever it was that was fueling our imaginations!  And as always, we'll be enjoying a good cigar and whiskey while we talk about it.  This week it's the Faustino #3 Wrapper and the Still Austin "Musician."  If you've ever been in search of The Loch Ness Monster, Bigfoot, Aliens, or just a great show, this is it!

Ep 25: Spilt Blue Milk (A Star Wars Lovefest)

Hey Nerds!  We are back again and this time we are holding an all-out love-fest for OT Star Wars!  There's a little something for everyone here.  The is camaraderie, a few kumbaya moments, even some moments where we let our passion as fans get the better of us. Of course, as always we have a cigar and whisky pairing and are "enjoying" (for lack of a better word) the Rocktown Bourbon (aka rocketfuel firewater) and the Skinny Monster cigar by Tatuaje.  Come for the topic, stay for the Rocktown!

Ep 24: Copping Out! Buddy Copy Movies

Hey nerds!  This week we have an arresting discussion around the captivating subject of Cop/Buddy Cop movies and television shows!  We recount eyewitness events of our first cop movie, along with evidence of why we love the genre, our favorite buddy cop duos, movies, TV shows and more. Meanwhile, we'll be enjoying the E.P. Carillo Sojourn Cigar and the Singleton Luscious Nectar 12 Year Single Malt Scotch (both so good it's almost criminal!) 

Ep 23: Unearthing Middle Earth

Hey nerds!  Well, we've done it.  With the Rings of Power second season out, we felt it was high time we took a trip to Middle Earth.  Prepare to nerd-out on all things Hobbit, LOTR, Silmarillion and of course Rings of Power, all while enjoying the Green Hornet cigar by Oveja Negra's Black Works Studio and the Michter's US1 Small Batch bourbon.  The nerdiness gets a little thick in this one!
